Elder Felix is home from his mission! Here is the last email he sent from the mission field:

Hey everyone,
I hope everything is going well wherever you're at.
It's been a while since I've sent anything, so I figured I'd send one last email. I get home later today, so if anyone is interested in talking, let me know!
This last transfer I got to serve with Elder Shipman and Elder Daza, two awesome elders. Elder Shipman started his mission in Bolivia with me, served in the same zone in Colombia with me a year ago, and came back with me to Colombia. It was awesome to end with him as my comp.
I have loved my mission, every moment of serving the Lord and learning about my Savior. I have come to understand a little better the love that He has for each of us, and I have seen the power of His Atonement to change lives. I know He lives and He is actively seeking to give us relief from our sadness and sins. I know that the feelings of anxiety, worry, and confusion do not come from the Lord, but rather from a sin-sick world that desperately needs the healing power of Christ.
His gospel is the answer to whatever problem, whatever concern we will have in this life. Life may not be easy, but as we seek to follow His commandments, we receive His help to move forward despite our challenges. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that it is Gods way to teaching and instructing His children today. I know that we each can gain a better understanding and a firmer knowledge of these things through prayer and a willingness to follow the answers we are given from God. I know Christ is our Redeemer. I know He loves us. We don't have to suffer through this life alone.
I hope the Lord will continue to bless each one of you, and that you will be able to feel His love. He has a plan, and He wants to improve His relationship with you as His child.
Love all y'all, hopefully we can talk soon!
Elder Felix
